Emisar D4v2 Lantern Kit

Transform your Emisar D4v2 flashlight into a fancy lantern! Do you like the BLF LT1 and want something smaller? This might be just right for you!

Included in this kit are two parts (consisting of three models to print):

• The base for a more reliable tailstand. Print with supports from build plate for the hollow bottom side. Why, you may ask? A flat bottom might wobble on an uneven surface. The outer rim will be much more stable. Also you can glue in a foam ring!
• The diffuser (v1) consisting of two parts: The outer diffuser which should be thin. Print it in vase mode without bottom. Vase mode is important to get an even surface without seams and a consistent thickness (I used 0.5 mm).

The second part is the lid with a cone for better light distribution. I've printed it with four bottom layers (0.2 mm each), two perimeters and no infill.

You might want to glue both parts together, but depending on your printer it might hold without glue if you just stick the two parts together.

Bonus: I've added a shade, which is based on my LT1 Shade. You need v1_outer and v2_inner for this model.

Update: Added a version modified for the Noctigon KR4! Print KR4_Diffuser_v1_outer.stl and the D4v2 inner part (with or without shade).

FreeCAD (0.19) files are included. The very nice model of the D4v2 in the image was made by wuspy.
