Totoche - 3D printed Blow horn for scouting, hunting or fun

J'ai créé cette totoche (jargon de scoutisme - corne de brume) pour permettre à chacun de faire la sienne soi-même, et pour avoir un style différent de la corne d'animal. Elle produit un son similaire aux modèles standards en corne.

Pour la faire, il faut se munir de trois éléments :

_La corne de votre choix, imprimée avec un matériau rigide

_Le pipet

_L'embouchure

_Eventuellement du papier de verre ou une lime pour poncer le pipet, si il ne rentre pas

Le pas de vis a été difficile à modéliser, l'espace entre le pipet et le bouchon métallique étant très réduit. Privilégier une hauteur de couche faible pour l'avoir un pas de vis résistant. Le mien s'est en partie cassé quand j'y ai mis le pipet, que j'avais poncé au préalable pour pouvoir le faire tenir.

Je joins un fichier .step au cas où vous voudriez apporter des mofidications au modèle, je veux bien mettre le fichier .f3d à votre disposition si c'est nécessaire.

English :

I created this totoche (french scouting jargon - foghorn) to allow everyone to make their own, and to have a different style from the animal horn. It produces a sound similar to standard horn models.

To make it, you need three things:

_The horn of your choice, printed with a rigid material

_The pipette (or whatever its english name is)

_The metal cap

_Sandpaper or a file to sand down the pipette if it does not fit

The thread was difficult to design, as the space between the pipette and the metal cap is very small. I prefer a low layer height to have a strong screw thread. Mine partially broke when I put the pipet in, which I had sanded beforehand to make it fit.

I am attaching a .step file in case you want to make any changes to the model, I am willing to make the .f3d file available to you if necessary.

I used a cylinder support under the thread using cura's custom supports plugin by Krasimir Stefanov. The support printed well even though it was a thin structure. The horn printed well without support in about 19h 50min with the above configuration.
