Bevel Gear For Tatra 813 openRC

This is a gear I designed (from step drawing from mcmaster car partfor the TATRA 813 RC project.

The Total mounting depth for The TATRA project from shaft centre to shaft centre needs to be 23.5mm according to my measurements.

Subtracting the shaft diameter 6mm leaves you with 17.5mm excluding gear lash.

This gear is designed so you have enough material around m3 nuts for grub screws. So I change drawing file so that it prints as 15.7mm and then I add a 1.5mm thick washer behind gear.

It would make NO sense printing my attached STL file.

I have specifically added the fusion 360 file so you can print and experiment.

I am currently printing in Nylon.

I have NOT tested this gear apart from fitting in swing axle and testing lash.

I am posting it here if someone else also wants to experiment.

I am printing at 0.12mm layer height
