Roberto from @MaquetasCNC brings to the MiniWorld3D catalog an all-time favorite and top attraction: The Alhambra of Granada, in southern Spain!

Specifically, this is a detailed section of the Alhambra's most famous feature: El Patio de los Leones / The Courtyard of the Lions.

It is the most recognized section in the heart of the Alhambra, which is a historical citadel formed by a complex of palaces, gardens and forts.

The rectangular courtyard measures about 29 meters long and 16 meters wide, surrounded by a complex pattern of arches and columns that feature an intricately-carved stucco decoration ("sebka" in Arabic).

The courtyard also features a sophisticated system of water channels that intersect at the center of the courtyard, where the famed Fountain of the Lions stands. This fountain consists of a large elevated basin surrounded by twelve stylized lion sculptures, all carved from marble.

Printing Tips

Suggested parameters:

For better details, print slow, such as 20mm/s for outer perimeters.
Fine-tune retraction to avoid stringing.

Perimeters: at least 3
Top solid infill: at least 4

Remove the horizontal bars that connect the columns, those are included in the model only for structural purposes to facilitate printing. Follow the image provided.
