Davy Jones is a fictional character in the Pirates of the Caribbean film series, portrayed by Bill Nighy.

He is first mentioned in The Curse of the Black Pearl, appears in Dead Man's Chest and At World's End, and makes a cameo appearance in Dead Men Tell No Tales. Once a mortal pirate of Scottish descent, Davy Jones is the tyrannical captain of the Flying Dutchman (based on the ghost ship of the same name) and the dark lord of the Seven Seas.
