GearVR Lens + Rx Lens combo holder for HTC Vive

Designed for use with 550021 lenses found on Zenni. I did the VR mod and was unable to get any of the other Rx lens holders to actually hold my lenses, they simply would not fit with the GearVR mod. So I designed my own holder from scratch. They are not quite perfect, something about the lens position is just off, but its good enough and reasonably clear. Just make sure your RX lenses are rotated correctly.

EDIT: Uploaded a V2 with rectified GearVR lense distance to reduce barrel distortion for use with existing configurations, and reinforced Rx lens holders to be a bit more durable to force.

Design evolution from top left to bottom right. Went through 4 complete redesigns. First model was just an attempt to make a separate lens holder but that just didn't pan out. Next two designs were intended to hold the lenses in parallel, but this resulted in the center of my vision being completely unfocused. Final design offsets the RX lens from the GearVR lens position. Its not quite perfect but I think its good enough for most people.

GearVR satisfying snaps in to place, you should insert it first. RX lens sets on top. Remember that flat part will be at an angle on your VR headset, so rotate the Rx lens appropriately. Rx lens is a little more tricky to insert but once you get it in its in there good.

As inserted. I tried to get the lenses as close as possible so as to be comfortable and also practical to insert the lenses. Sometimes my eyebrow is lightly touched but for the most part they stay comfortably distant from my face and should be comfortable for people with bigger noses too.
