Description
After two versions of bean hoppers, falling off my machine I tried and digg into F360 to give it a shot and try my own version of the Melitta Coffeo Solo Bean Hopper. According to other members this design does fit the Melitta Purista as well.
Most designs are somewhat a hollowed box to put on top but are not very stable. Another design was to tall because I have my kitchen cabinet right above so space is limited as well.
Oh, and easy to print please ♥ ^^
This design serves it:
The F360 file is included and height adjustable. Look for the corresponding parameter (Hopper Height)
IDEAS for future improvement/upgrade:
Printer Brand:
Prusa
Printer:
I3 MK3S
Rafts:
Yes
Supports:
No
Resolution:
0.2
Infill:
20
Filament: Prusament PETG Black
Notes:
Print upside down. The rim on top is quite small so better safe then sorry I used a brim to support bed adhesion - But it's not necessary. Prusa Slicer adds an elephant foot compensation that reduces the extrusion width of the first layer edge by 0.2mm on both sides... watch out for this setting in the advanced menu tab.
Post-Printing =============
Add silicone bead or rubber gasket piece in the notch
The small notch on the side allows to add a silicone bead if fit is not snug or you want extra safety. Make sure you have food-grade material.
How I Designed This ===================
F360 customizable
If you like me to add your personal hopper height just tell me.
I have included a 10 mm test part for you to check fit and print-ability beforehand though the edge might look a bit funky due to the printing-optimized bevel.
