Description
I bought a used Raise3D N2 Plus in really rough shape. One of the missing parts were the cooling fans for the tool head.
The standard fans are 2x 35x10mm axial fans which are used for cooling the heatsink of the hotend (coldend) and for partcooling.
I replaced these 2 fans with 3 40x10mm axial fans which are more common for 3d printer users. There is now one dedicated fan for coldend cooling (constant 12V). The two fans for partcooling are turned on via gcode.
For this mod you need:
For wiring you may refer to the diagram I provided. The two (2) part cooling fans have to be connected to one single connector on the toolhead pcb - so you do not need to make any firmware changes.
I also provided .stp and Fusion360 files if you want to modify / improve the design.
