Inspired by Mel/TheTerrainTutor: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LDxQM7al1zg
Drew up some roof shingles for future projects, the effect should look quite close to using cardboard or heavy paper and ought to be more durable on a finished building.
The main reason for drawing this up is that the making (printing) is completely hands off as opposed to cutting the shingles using a hobby knife, scissors or clippers, which, seeing it done in some tutorials, looks like it would be PITA.
Load in your slicer, scale to the size you want, multiply and overlap a shingle or two if for longer strips, maybe mirror some for a little extra variety, hit print and go build or paint something while it prints.
Marked WIP because i might add more variations in the future dependent on what sort of buildings i conclude i want to put together, the version currently up would be good for something like a cottage in the woods or small village house, nothing too fancy IMO.
