Death Star 3d Printer Control Knob Star Wars Knob Upgrade - STAY ON TARGET!

For all you Star Wars fans out there, here's a nice clean & classy simple death Star replacement knob for your 3D printer.  Unlike other theme-knobs, the death star looks great printed in gray, as-is (no need for intricate painted details to make it look good). The death Star also just so happens to be the perfect, spherical shape for a nice, comfortable control knob.  

Just for the record, Admiral Ackbar approves of this modification, and it is not a trap.

Function: Works, and feels great, does not cause any obstructions with the build plate in the full forward position, speaker, or cancel button. 

Printing:  Prints very nicely with a .4mm nozzle with no supports in the vertical orientation. Printing with a .25mm nozzle will obviously attain the highest detail in parts this small. Clean your bed prior to printing as always.

Printing in 2 Colors - For the ultimate effect you can print it in two colors.  I used Prusa Galaxy Black (appropriate) for the base, & Galaxy Silver for the Death Star.  This provides an awesome “floating in space effect” for the knob.  If you have never printed in multiple colors, don't worry, it's simple! 

For your convenience I have included a .3mf, preconfigured print file for a .4mm nozzle @ .20mm quality, set up for two colors (use whatever 2-colors you prefer for the foundation and death Star).  The printer will pause and prompt you when it is time to change your filament to the next color.  This print file also has some added resolution on the top of the death Star since it is a sphere to try and make it as smooth as possible on the top at the finish of the print.
