Woodpecker door knocker

A semi automatic door knocker. Turn the knob and let the woodpecker hammer on the door.

Print instructions

Required additional parts:

• 2 M3x10mm screws with countersunk head
• 5 M3x8-12mm screws, head shape irrelevant
• a rubber band

Assembly

1. Attach the arm to the top of the body using the screws with countersunk heads.
2. Connect the lever arm with the mount using the small pin. Make sure the body can rotate easily.
3. Screw the bottom of the body to the top.
4. Push the beak into the head
5. Insert the push arm in its slot in the mount.
6. Put the gear in place and push the knob through the hole in the mount and into the gear.
7. Add 3 screws to the holes in the mount and lever arm and put the rubber band around them.
