Description
I couldn't find a fairly thin clip-on sunglasses case that I can just slide in and out of my pocket relatively easily so I ended up designing these. They fit 2 of my clip-on sunglasses I bought from Zenni and wouldn't be too hard to scale accordingly if you need it bigger or smaller.
It comes with a thumb hole on the bottom to easily push the sunglasses out or you can pinch the top part with your index and thumb to pull it out.
I printed it standing up to avoid the need of supports but for extra strength, you might be able to print it flat on its side? This assumes your printer is pretty dialed in and it can handle the brief overhang, otherwise print it standing up.
I recommend printing on a durable material (PETG, ASA, ABS, etc.) that can withstand heat if you plan on putting it in your car. I printed mine on PETG with 0.2mm layer height at 0.4mm nozzle with a brim.
Print the Whole version if you just want to use it as is.
Print the Separated version (both Front and Back) if you want to add some felt to prevent the print material scratching your sunglasses. I recommend this if your clip-on are a bit on the cheap side.
