Description
Parts to wet mold leather and make a large multitool case/sheath.
Finished inside dimensions are 4.5 x 1.5 x .75” (114 x 38 x 19mm).
BaseForm, Form, Mold, FormTrim, and Jig for a large Leatherman. Only the Form and Jig are needed but the other parts give you more options and make assembling a bit easier.
I printed the Form, FormTrim, and Jig at 4 walls and 20% infil.
Mold was printed at 4 walls and 40% infil.
Jig can also be used as the Mold but is a little harder to press. It also requires using two pieces of wood or similar items to sandwich everything between but saves on print time and material.
*Recommend flipping the Jig file in your slicer.
Update 20 July: There is a recess on the bottom of MoldSuper that matches the outline of JigSuper. This creates an indentation on leather to mark where to trim. I noticed it was 1mm longer than it should have been. This has been corrected.
