Description
This remix of the center box cover of https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4377361 doesn't need any mounting hardware and can easily be removed without having to detach the left and right sections first.
The door uses two printed half-spheres as hinges that just snap into the hinge mount holes in the original center box. It might not be as stable as the original design that uses M3 bolts as hinges but works for light duty and can be replaced with a new one in seconds if the hinge wears out.
Update 22.05.2020: Added a v2 version that has a retaining mechanism that allows the cover to stay closed even if the center box is mounted upside down (with the hinge side down). The previous version just flipped open by itself if mounted that way.
