Description
Remix for an Edimax ES5500M 5-port Gigabit switch.
The ES5500M has an odd plastic case and a power connector on the front. This mount is designed to replace the original plastic case completely. You can still power it from the front or just solder a power cable to the solder points of the power socket and then supply power from the back.
I provided right and left versions plus a cover plate that can be screwed to the back of the mount to close up the back.
The switch PCB is mounted in the new case using three M3x6mm plastic standoffs (male-female version), three M3x8 button head screws and three M3 plastic nuts for the standoffs. The back cover is designed for the four original case screws of the ES5500M.
