Print the markers in a different color!
This was made to help people park in cramped garages more consistently, by serving as a reference point.
To set it up:
- Park the car
- Find a place on the wall where you can see the parking aid
- Position the parking aid so it looks like there's a straight line. This is your reference point.
- It's easier to have someone else help find the position while you remain in the car
- Affix the parking aid to the wall
- Next time you park: as long as your head is in roughly the same position as before, seeing the straight line means you're parked in the same place
- In the animation, imagine you're driving up right next to the parking aid
