Knob with set screw

Knob for 5 mm shaft of stepper motor, e.g. very popular Nema17.

Designed to easily grab with 3 fingers.

It has hole for M3 5-6 mm bolt to optionally secure grip on the shaft as it may wore up over time and start slipping.

Updates:

• 2020/09/17: added smaller version v1.2 of diameter 40 mm, v1.1 has 45 mm and fingers may sometimes collide with nearby elements e.g. Z-axis rod.

Print settings:

• Filament: PETG, ABS (don't use PLA, it will deform over time)
• Layer Height: 0.2-0.3
• Line Width:0.45
• Wall Line Count: 3
• Top/Bottom Layers: 3
• Infill: 20%
• Cooling: 50%
