Extruder for rigid and flexible 1.75 mm filaments, compatible with Nema 17 stepper motors.

Print settings (Cura):
- material:PETG (don't use PLA, it will deform over time under mechanical stress)
- layer height:0.15 mm (slider) &0.2 mm (housing / cover / tensioner)
- wall line width:0.4 mm
- wall line count: 3
- top/bottom layers: 4-5
- infill: 20%
- inner/outer wall speed:25 mm/s (don't print too fast)
- combing mode: off
- cooling: 25%
- support:NO
Hardware:
- bearing 12x4x4 (out x in x height) x1
- bolt M4x10 hex head x1
- bolt M3x22 hex head x4
- bolt M3x10 hex head x1
- nut M3 x1
- extruder spring 20x7 or 20x8 x1
- extruder gear T40 11x5x11 (out x in x height) x1
- PTFE 4mm tube coupler M6 x1
- PTFE tube 40-50 mm
Assembly (follow photos)
- Print all parts (ideally in two favorite colors)
- Sand any roughness in top of printed parts (in necessary)
- Clean filament path with 2 mm drill
- Clean bearing hole with 3-3,5 mm drill
- Insert bearing with washer (from top) into slot in slider and secure with M4x10 bolt
- Assemble tensioner with M3x10 and M3 nut
- Insert tensioner into slider
- Insert slider into housing
- Put spring into slider
- Put cover on top of housing
- Screw coupler into either side of slider
- Insert PTFE tube into opposite side of slider
- Put extruder gear into stepper motor shaft
- Put extruder on stepper motor (don't use printed spacer if there's wide round hole in motor bracket)
- Secure extruder with M3x22 bolts
- Tension spring with hex key to middle of channel
