Description
I wanted to connect a tube from my filament dryer to my extruder. I looked for a filament sensor cover to hold a tube here on printables. After 10 minutes of looking I decided I could make my own in SolidWorks quicker. so here it is. It fits a 4mm PTFE tube perfectly. It's nice and snug the tube will not slip out however, pops out easily when you pull it out to change filament and such. Like the original sensor cover, it has all the chamfers leading in and out so filament wont snag. Also got rid of the arrow as its not needed on this part. Later I purchased push to connect fittings thinking i would use those however, this one works so well I will not swap it out. I will also be using this cover instead of the new one that came with my enclosure, its that good lol.
