Description
Hubert's cable hanger design was great, but had extremely limited parametric capability. I wanted more flexibility and more designs, so I recreated it in FreeCAD with almost everything (maybe too much) adjustable via the Spreadsheet.
Heavily based on Hubert's design, if you output using the “Original” configuration and the 4 parts to match it, you will have one nearly identical. The only differences are I left off the fillets on the ends of the tabs and I left the holes round.
With 6 separate body pieces to mix and match, you can make a wide variety of configurations.
There are a bunch of notes embedded in the FreeCAD file, please be sure to review them before making any changes.
The gap at the clip is 0.33mm, same as the original - but if this doesn't suit your printer, you can just increase it to 0.5mm or more as needed - just watch the model and make sure you don't need to adjust anything else to match. Nearly EVERYTHING can be adjusted by parameter.
