Description
I have a garden table with a frame made of 3mm steel square tubing with an inner size slightly over 24mm and an outer size of ~31mm. This frame has one shorter leg, that should have an adjustable foot attached. It is used to stabilise the table on uneven ground.
The previous insert I made for it had broken and this one is made to be a lot stronger.
Print the model lying on it's “back” with the insert hole at the top. This is essential, as it means that the main force the table puts on the print along the vertical axis, will be along a horizontal print-axis. The vertical print axis has limited tensile strength in this type of 3d printing.
I printed it in black ABS with 25% infill.
