Mounting Helpers for "Expandable Steel Sheet Holder" for MK3s+/mini

Synopsis

This design helps you mount the two sides of the "Expandible Steel Sheet Holder" to the bottom of your shelf, without having to fuss with measuring and such non-sense.

Printing

Print with a layer height of 0.3 mm for a faster print. 15% infill is fine.

Because of the print size, you cannot print it with a skirt on the MK3S, so be sure to wipe down the build plate with IPA to avoid any adhesion issues. I used the smooth PEI.

Using it for mounting the Expandible Steel Sheet Holder

You can use it for mounting at the side or in the middle. 

To mount at the side of the shelf, mount one of the holder sides, place the helper, and use it to mount the other side at the correct distance.

To mount in the middle, draw a perpendicular line from the front of your shelf and line up with the marks as shown in this image.

You can then screw it in place or use double-sided tape to fasten it, and then you place the holder sides snug up next to the mount helper.
