Description

I made this design using dimensions from a 5-gallon fabric planter with a base diameter of 12 inches and a height of 12 inches.

There are 5 components of this design. 3 components are printed. Base, base arms, and supports. Risers and the plastic sheet need to be sourced. I used 7mm diameter bamboo craft sticks and 6 mil plastic drop sheet.

Base x1

Base arms x8

Supports x4/x8

Printed w/ .2 layer height

no supports

Base assembly

Pop the button of the base arms into the holes on the base ring. Super glue shouldn't be necessary.

Supports/risers

Slide 8x risers into 4x supports, slide roughly halfway down. Slide risers onto additional supports connecting the 4 assemblies into 1. Super glue supports if necessary to hold in place.

To stack additional risers simply glue the top supports halfway into the support sleeve and glue an additional riser on top.

Plastic sheet

With the frame fully assembled and placed in the base, wrap plastic sheet around. If desired, you can glue the plastic onto the risers. to do so, put a few small drops along the riser, pull plastic tight and lay down over glue, hold till glue is dry. I wrapped the plastic sheet and used elastic to hold it in place, shown in pics.
