Description
*NOTE*
The original version of this mounting plate had some serious issues with the nozzle offset and the extreme rightward positioning of the BLTouch. The right side of the build plate was utterly unusable. I've completely redesigned it to put the nozzle of the H2 in the same position as the stock one. The BLTouch now sits to the left and there is no interference with the end stops anymore. It's also 18mm closer to the nozzle so you get a much better mesh.
This is a mounting plate for the BIQU H2 on a Longer LK1/Alfawise U20 printer. You'll need to drill out the carrier plate on the LK1. The thread pattern doesn't match the BIQU extruder and causes all kinds of problems when mounting. Loosely fit the plate and extruder so there's enough slack to run the wires. The pictures show where everything goes and the BLTouch is pretty straight forward.
Print flat as shown in the picture, no supports required. I printed at .2mm with 35% infill. You could go higher but I also did 5 walls.
The blower mount in is a remix of this https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4915270 by Si_Gowla. The description on this item is for a 4020 fan but the download is for a 5015. I changed it back.
Printer:
Longer LK1
Resolution:
200
Infill:
35
Filament:
PolyMaker Polylite PLABlack/Red
Notes:
The blower mount is PETG and the plate is PLA. No real reason for this except that I printed the blower mount weeks ago and the plate later on. Either/or should be fine.
