Description
When swapping out the rubber bands that hold my props to their motor mounts, one of my little black spacers escaped, never to be seen again. They are not sold separately at the ol' local hobby shop, so what to do?
Luckily, I have a 3D printer and some CADdin'skills so I made my own based on measurements made with the calipers.
The dimension according to my calipers were the following (+/- padding for my printer):
2.48mm Height (+.17mm = 2.65mm)
7.72mm OD (-.15mm = 7.57mm)
3.92mm ID (+.45mm = 4.37mm)
I added parameters within my CAD to compensate for my printer which is a newer Flashforge Creator Pro with a .5mm nozzle. The end result was a perfect substitute for the originals that came with the propellers.
