How to assemble
Before assembly:
Make sure that the pins are correctly placed in the core and are able to move freely.
Make sure that the driver pins can move freely in the lock body
You will need a slightly longer pin to serve as the retainer pin. You can also use two medium sized pins. Make sure the retainer pin will be able to move freely within the retainer pin cavity in the core.
Assembly:
Chuck the bearing into the core hole and shake it around until it pops out in the shackle hole with the correct orientation (see picture). This usually takes no more than 20 seconds.
Insert the core and align the pin holes with the body.
Insert the key pins, drivers, springs.
Insert the retainer pin(s) and a spring.
Take a piece of filament and stick it all the way into the small hole above the springs. It will prevent the springs from falling out.
You can solder the tip of the filament so that it cannot slide out of the hole.
You are done
