Project Aegis (Blackbeard shield)

I'm not the original owner of the template nor the model files, I just compiled them for easy access for whoever wants to make one instead of buying one. Let's see those shields!

things needed:

• 2mm polycarbonate/plexiglass sheet (sizing is up to you, i used A3 size, then fitted it diagonally)
• 1x M3x30mm nut and bolt
• 2x M4 screws
• paper (not a must, but definitely helpful)
• rubber-gasket-bumper-whatever-this-is or similar

(Simplified) Instructions:

1. print the template on paper/freehand it on the polycarb sheet lmao
   • (size it accordingly)
2. cut the shield out from the sheet
3. heat and bend it along the vertical lines in the red-lined template 
   • (I did 300degC on heat gun, but 200 is good and slow)
   • (try not to “overcook”, bubbles will appear!)
4. print the things, mark holes on the shield to drill, and drill holes
5. Use M4 screws to attach shield to mount
6. Use M3 nut and bolt for the picatinny clamp
7. Rubber-gasket-thing to go around the perimeter of the shield, no ouchies
8. mount on blaster, go pew pew, throw the whole blaster away if shield is destroyed
