MTF Mount for Hexafoc

MTF (MagneTicFocuser) mount for the Hexafoc focuser

This is a mount to magnetically couple the MTF to the telescope. It fits on all Hexafoc focusers such as the ExploreScientific ED80 or identical focusers.

What else you need:

• 4x neodymium magnet N45 9x5 mm
• 2x M3 grubscrew

Glue the magnets in place with a drop of superglue, press them in as far as they will go, they must be 1mm below the edge.

Attachment to the telescope:

Unscrew the knob (left) from the focuser and attach the coupler to the shaft with 2 M3 grubscrews.
Slide the mount over the coupler and screw it tight with the brake screw.
