Description
Use: Simple cabinet knob used to open/close my printer enclosure door. Could be used for many similar uses.
Design 1 (Model file: cabinet knob 8-32 insert) Knob is 1" tall by 7/8" in diameter. Hole is sized to fit an 8-32 threaded insert
Design 2 (Model file: cabinet knob 8-32 tap) Knob is 1" tall by 7/8" in diameter. Hole is sized for a 8-32 tap
Assembly Design 1: Heat up an 8-32 threaded insert with soldering iron and press into hole
Assembly Design 2: Drill knob with 9/64" drill bit to clean up hole. Use a 8-32 tap to cut threads in hole.
Print settings: No support, .2mm resolution or finer
