Description
My daughter is into her Anime, I've been working on sun catchers of late. So ... here's Kiki.
This is a sun catcher printed without fancy multi-material mechanisms.
The frame acts like the lead in a stained glass window. It needs to be printed in transparent filament with a change to black at the layer where the lead lines would be.
Once completed, the coloured pieces are then glued into the relevant "gaps" in the frame. I used PVA glue and allowed it to set over a number of days.
The tolerances are really tight, so you may need to sand the parts down a little to make them fit depending on your printers tolerances.
