FlashForge Creator Pro Spool Holder

The spool holders that come with the FlashForge Creator Pro (2016 version) are very limited in the dimensions of spools that it can hold. Most of my spools are either too wide or the hub is too small to fit on the manufacturer's holders. So I made a holder that fits all the spools of the various brands of filament that I have.

These holders will accommodate spools that are up to 95 mm wide and spool hubs that are as small as 25 mm in diameter.

Also included are some spacer rings of various thicknesses that can be put on the spindle after the spool to keep the spool from traveling along the length of the spindle. For the most part, they're totally optional and the spool will roll just fine without them. However, if you have a narrow spool with a large hub, it's possible that the spool might come off the end unless you use one or more spacers to keep the spool orthogonal to the spindle.

The FreeCAD file that I used to create the model is also included in case you want to make modifications.

Must be printed in the orientation shown for maximum strength. It won't matter if the supports on the side of the spindle leave a rough surface, as the spool will ride on the top surface only.
