Picatinny Rail Riser 20mm with M5/M3 Slot

This is a remix of Picatinny Rail Riser 20mm by DNeves.

An airsoft Picatinny rail riser to set accessories such as red dots and scopes 20mm higher. Remixed to fix rail width and include M3/M5 slots.

The original model had a great design, but the rails were too tight, causing unnecessary stress to the part. I remixed the part to include the following changes:

• Increased the rail slot width to 21.2mm (0.835in) matching the MIL-STD-1913 rail standard
• Added slots to fit nuts and bolts in the M3 standard
• Added slots to fit nuts and bolts in the M5 standard with additional cover to increase part integrity

Print Notes

• Print the part vertically to ensure the vector of the stress will be perpendicular to the layer
• You can limit the supports to be added only at the bottom and between each rail slot, but this will depend on your printer's ability to deal with overhangs in the inner section of the part
