Update: February 27, 2026

The new Galaxy Buds 4 and 4 Pro have gone back to a clamshell-style case that's bigger than the old Buds 2 case by 1mm in every dimension (51x51x28mm). I've added a slightly larger version, but it's untested since I don't have the new Buds. If you try it out, please post a comment if it works!

Original post

I made this case for the Samsung Galaxy Buds 2, and it should also work with the Buds Pro, Buds Live, and any other Buds that have a recharging case that measures 50x50x27mm.

The holster must be printed with TPU, so that it will conform to the shape of the Buds case. The fit is nice and tight, and the only way to get the Buds out is to push up through the hole on the bottom.

The first version has an integrated belt loop that measures 4x36mm, enabling it to fit a typical 1.25" belt (sorry, I'm mixing Metric and Imperial). It's great for when you definitely don't want the case to come off of your belt.

The second version has a belt clip that you print separately and then attach to the holster. I recommend PETG for strength, but PLA should work. The clip slides through from the top and then has a locking tab. Once it's in, it's hard to get it out. I have no fear of the two pieces separating accidentally.

I once sat down too close to an armrest, which pushed the case up and away from my belt. The PETG clip cracked partway, but didn't break. I suspect that a PLA clip would have completely broken off. Note that this will happen with almost any belt clip in this scenario, and I prefer it. It's better than the case sliding off of my belt without me noticing.

Since belt sizes vary, there are three different clips measuring 4x36mm, 4x38mm, and 4x40mm. If you need something larger or wider, let me know.

The holster is optimized to print at 0.2mm resolution, and doesn't require any supports when printed upside down. I've used three walls with a 0.4mm nozzle.

The belt clip prints on its side, and there's not a lot of contact with the bed. You may need a raft to get it to stick.
