SCX24 Beadlocks for Hyrax

Background

ProLine’s 1/24 Hyrax tires currently only come pre-mounted on their plastic beadlocks. The wheel width is a little narrow for my taste and results in an egg shaped tire profile. When mounted to both styles of Treal beadlocks I own, they either slipped on the bead or came off the bead.

Design

I decided to dig further in PrusaSlicer hacking of the other printed wheels I did by adjusting diameter, offset, & width of the set while also improving the screw pockets for the ring and wheel.

The result is now a tire that stays on the wheel, has a wider flat profile, increased contact patch, and has a softer feel due to less foam compression.
