Description
we bought the mala paper rolls from ikea, but the kids did never use this. we didn't buy the original paper holder, because it was a little clunky and not fine finished. So I made a 3d printer holder for the kids, I wanted it as small as possible and fixed at the desk. now the paper is always at the desk, the kids can draw on paper or use it as underlayment for muddy works.
you can attach the square holders from the back of the desk, then they stay in place. At the same time your desk can also stay completely close to the wall. For the paper you need a pipe with 16 mm diameter.
the falling-slots in the desk-parts are designed to keep the paper always as near as possible to the wall.
I also made a version without a pipe, but I am not sure if it holds the paper well. For the stiffness of the paper-bolts use a screw or a bolt inside. that armors the 3d print.
