Description
Originally created as a bezel to install my SeeLevel II Monitor where a previous panel was mounted, I have ended up with a parametric model that supports a wide range of panel sizes.
Designed to replace a 70mmx114mm panel, the included models are 110x114 with a recess for a SeeLevel II 709 monitors with and without ignition fault LEDs.
Parameters are provided such that you can specify the size of a previous panel, plus the size of a replacement and Fusion will create the smallest bezel that will fit the replacement while covering any holes that may exist for the previous one. You can also override the calculation and manually set the outer dimensions of the bezel.
Since this was originally designed for a SeeLevel monitor, it also incudes text and an led mounting hole for an Ignition Fault indicatory. This can be enabled, disabled, flush, embossed or debossed. The fusion file retains the timeline so you can manually modify the sketch and extrusions for the text if you wish, but is not generically parametric.
Available options with my SeeLevel II values:
If you are using this for a SeeLevel II install, the main parameters are OldPanelWidth and OldPanelHeight. Without changing other parameters, a model will be generated with the smallest footprint to cover the old panel's mounting holes and fit a SeeLevel II.
Not that you can enter dimensions in millimeters or inches. If setting a parameter using inches, simply put in after the size instead of mm and Fusion will automatically convert it in the equations.
The EmbossText parameter is a boolean.
If you want debossed text, select 0 (for Flush) and then remove the letter objects from your exported 3mf file. The letters are separate objects sitting in matching cut outs.
If you want no text, select the group at the end of the timeline and choose “Suppress Features”:
