24 hour clock

24 hour clock with a ring that advances one full rotation per day.  takes a little getting used to the direction it runs.  I may remix this with a belt and pully to make it run the other direction, but KISS, I didn't.  

gearing is based on 15.  15 teeth in the drive gear and 360 teeth in the main ring.  just by coincidence that number made the geometry of the teeth work out on both objects.  
 

blind object indexes the time and hides the clock mech.  two versions, one with guide spools and one without.  the PIP spool arms are a little fragile, clumsy and need more refinement.  without the spool arms it works fine, but does oscillate a little, but some sanding of the drive gear can smooth it out.  

As the numbers pass the index the point on the number tab will point at the zero mark, the 30 mark or a point in-between.  this is not a precise indication of the exact time and its not supposed to be.  

the timezone offset can be friction fit to the clock mech adapter.  Optionally, it can be secured with a 2mm screw, especially recommended if you are trying to use more than one offset.  the cover photo shows California time and Indian Standard time on the offset.
