5x 3.5 inch drive holder (Hard / Floppy Drive)

Mount for 5 3.5 inch drives

I wanted to mount 5 Floppy drives on top of each other to experiment with playing MIDI files trough their stepper motors (See: Floppytron). While searching for the mounting hole specs I found that these were the same as hard disk drives. I wanted to remix this Triple Hard Drive Holder, but due to being unable to read Solidworks files on my Mac I recreated my holder from scratch, based on this design.

After printing, I noticed that the gaps between the drives were larger than necessary for my needs, thus made updated to the model resulting in a 5 FDD Holder. Additionally I made the holes larger in case you have screws with a thicker, unthreaded part like I do. I didn't bother reprinting, thus untested for now.
