Cap Rack Extendable

Remix of Thingiverse user Tedoyan's "Cap Rack (Extendable with Dovetail joints)" thing:4897564.

Tedoyan's design to hold the caps in place worked great however the dovetail joints would work loose over time causing my hats to fall out on the floor. I redesigned the extendable sections to connect via a short piece of filament. To connect two pieces simply stick a piece of scrap 1.75mm filament through the holes. Melt and squish each end to secure the piece of filament in place.

Caps secure in the hook by sliding the nub on top of the cap into the round area of the hook from the side. This makes for a secure hold.

Model is meant to print on its side so there's no need for supports and no overhangs.
