Props to the originator for giving us a nice stick end. Sometimes I thumb and sometimes I pinch.

Fatter shaft added to allow an M3 insert.

FWIW the hole is a perfect fit for a resin print which should have a high degree of accuracy. What I have been doing is applying a bit of resin out of the vat to ther outside of the insert before curing. After curing you should have an incredibly solid fitting stick end that as as solid a fit as the original machined metal part.

I printed with 50 / 50 standard green resin and monocure flex. Should take a beating and not be brittle.
