Housing for cheap retail deco light solar panels

Here are two versions of my adapter for solar panels (with batteries) that come with cheap solar garden fairy lights. The solar panel is supposed to fit inside the rectangular cutout. An acrylic dome fits over the round outside and can be glued on. I made this design after two solar panels and the batteries rusted inside (they are not really waterproof) in the first winter. The new panels under the acrylic dome already survived for 2 years outside.
