Knife Arc Stand / Messerbogen

This version of Knife Arc could hold 11 chef knifes.

The Fusion sketch is parameterized to create different formats of knife bow:

• comlete length/height of bow
• thickness of bow radius
• width of blade wholes (results in complete model width by adding 10 mm)
• height of blade wholes

Feel free to modify the parameters and let me know how to improve it.

Printing

The design is done with 3D printing in mind. It is printable without supports. 

Print it laying on the side. Closed section on the plate.

I created the maximum of the object to 180mm to be printable on my Prusa MINI. Slicing the STL file I noticed, that I have to downscale the model a little bit more to 95%.

You could modify the parameters if required (and possible for your printer ) directly in fusion file.

Outlook

I think the knife bow printed in 3D is a little bit lightweight for kitchen knifes. I am thinking to close the bottom element to add for example sand top add weight for better standing.
