Description
--UPDATE--
I realized in my initial upload I only included the latest version of the lid, which has dividers between the samples holders. I have now included the original flat lid that has no dividers in case this is useful for you.
This chamber is used to perform immunohistochemistry. It holds 8 glass slides horizontally so that antibodies or other solutions can incubate on the tissue. This provides a means to stain for an endless number of markers and is an essential piece of equipment that I use every day in the lab.
I designed this since many of the incubation chambers I have found online were inadequate or not durable enough for regular lab use. Additionally, this was designed so that it fits on the prusa mini print bed.
I strongly recommend printing in PETG since this can be wiped down and cleaned with lab cleaning reagents such as 70% ethanol.
Assembly:
The hinge for the lid and the bottom can be secured by simply inserting a 1.75 mm filament through the entire length of the hinge. It can be held in place by simply melting the ends of the filament.
