Models
Version 3 (ergon_cateye_mount_v3 - added 2023-02-26
- made clip easier to use
- elongated and beveled clip for easier access
- reduced clip width to reduce tension
- added ramp to clip to support both Rapid Mini and Viz series tolerances
- Viz series lights have a thicker base. Added increased clearances and added a ramp to keep the clip tight on the Rapid Mini.
- added fillets for the aesthetics
Version 2 (ergon_cateye_mount_v2) - added 2022-10-27
- Moved clip to opposite side to provide a larger clip “nub” that is easier to print and will hold up to more repeated use. Works great
- Added fusion model
- .f3d model includes a parameter “AngleFromLevel” to adjust the mount to keep the light level for seat angles. >0 for nose up saddles, <0 for nose down saddles. Uploaded stl is 0 and should be great for level saddles +- a couple degrees from level. This was primarily an excuse to play with parameters, most people will not need to adjust this.
- Fixed issue where light wasn't perfectly centered
Version 1 (ergon_cateye_mount_v1)
- small “nub” that can be difficult to print well that can fail easily if there isn't great layer adhesion.
