Description
Phonics phones are simple, tube-shaped devices that allow a student to hear their own voice clearly. This can be used by a student to hear their own voice, even in a noisy classroom.
Phonics phones are often used when a student practices reading aloud, allowing them to hear the sounds they are making and ensuring that they are pronouncing words well. It can also be used when practicing foreign languages, allowing the student to check their pronunciation against that of a recording or a teacher's voice.

After printing a version of a phonics phone that required substantial support material, I decided to design this model that is very easy to print without any support material, saving both time and plastic.
Print several of these for a classroom or one for your child at home to practice their reading! Just make sure each student has their own.
