Description
This is based on a flexible design using ¼-20 bolts and nuts and 1/2in schedule 40 PVC Pipe. I'll publish a collection of all the different generic Joints that I design in another model.
Here we have a 1 joint or 2 joint Camera Arm with a standard 1/4in-20 thread at the end.
The base swivels, each joint rotates and locks (working on improving the holding strength of V1), and each PVC rod can rotate (and be screwed in).
I provide the Fusion 360 file if you want to make any other custom mods..
The .stl's are provided as full plates. You will want to either print the 1 Joint, or 2 Joint plates, along with the Rotating Base Plate. If you want the individual components use the "split to objects" function of prusa slicer, or I will provde them as part of the collection of all parts in another model.
| Model | Infill Setting | Print Setting | g Filament | Print Time | ~Cost |
| Rotating Base Plate | 10 pct Gyroid | .15mm Quality | 109.6 | 14h24m | $3.05 |
| 2 Joint Base Plate | 15 pct Gyroid | .15mm Quality | 97.9 | 13h 38m | 2.72 |
Here are the Bolts Used for the 2 Joint base (1 joint model would be 6 Nuts, 3 Carriage Bolts, 2 Hex bolts):
| Part Name | Qty | Approx Cost | May Be Marked |
| 1/4in-20 Hex nut | 9 | 0.81 | AAB |
| 1/4in-20 x 1-1/2in Carriage Bolt | 4 | 0.88 | AEA |

I'll add mounts for GoPro, and Lifcams shortly as well.
