Description
My refrigerator doesn’t have anywhere to hang a hand towel so when I started learning to use Fusion360 this seamed like a good thing to start with.
Other materials you will need:
Start by gluing the two haves of base part1 together (the surface detail is designed to hide the seam line). Next glue the two arm ends on the wooden dowel, make sure the nubs are facing outward and are lined up with each other. Use a M3x.5 tap to thread the 4 holes on the ends of the base (if you don’t have a tap and machine screws you can just glue part2 into the notches in part1. But make sure you install the arm first). Lastly attach magnets to the back.
As this is being used in the kitchen and will inevitably get wet, sealing the wood and plastic will help to prevent it from absorbing water and growing mold. I coated mine in XTC-3D before final assembly, lightly sanded it, painted it with white, and a protective layer of high gloss enamel.
