Description
One day I noticed that my new record started to loose pitch. It went faster and slower all around and I couldn't make out a cause. Finally I gathered that it's not the record but the player and I noticed the belt of my trusty Pro-ject Debut III to have worn down pretty badly, going dry and porous and slippery and stuff. Yet another faulty device that can only be fixed with printed parts!
And an opportunity to make something useful from 60A TPU which is incredibly soft and gives plenty grip and most surely is the flexiest stuff I've printed so far.
The belt is supposed to have a 0,8mm thickness, so printing it in spiral mode with a 0,8mm nozzle might be the best option. I made it 2-walled on a 0,4mm nozzle and it turned out good enough, but there's a visible (yet non-audible) seam because cura can't print it in vase mode that way. I'm not sure if 60A might be overkill; probably it would also work with 82A or something similar.
