Gift Card Ribbon Box - Single-Pass Three-Part Vase Mode - Parametric

Using under 5m of Filament, and printing in less than 90min, this is a perfect little gift card box you can quickly print while you're getting ready to go to that party.  It's formed by a base, lid, and “ribbon” which neatly fits around the box to give it some flair.

Box dimensions as shown fit an international standard credit card or gift card 

Internal Size : 86.6 mm x 54.98 mm x 5mm

Credit Card : 85.6 mm x 53.98 mm (3.37 inches x 2.125 inches)

All three parts are modelled and intended for a 0.4mm nozzle, and print in vase mode. However by using the PrusaSlicer setting “Complete Individual Objects” all three parts are completed sequentially in a single print, meaning the entire thing can be printed quickly and easily in a single pass, even on a smaller printer like the Prusa MINI+.

The “ribbon” piece has a 3mm brim to make sure it does not peel off the bed, and that can be peeled off by hand or trimmed with a sharp blade.  You could experiment with excluding the brim in the small “spring" part in the middle if you wanted to make this peeling easier, but I had no problems with it so I didn't bother.

Printed in both Prusament PETG and Prusament PLA (shown) on the Prusa MINI+ on the Satin sheet with an 0.4mm nozzle.

Included is the Fusion3D parametric model file which should allow you to tweak parameters to make the box a different size, or to experiment with different nozzle thicknesses.
