Dowel, screw and marking jig, fully customizable

Customizable dowel/screw/marking-jig for woodworking. The idea is certainly not new, the multipurpose maybe.

A great thing of 3D-printing is that you don't have to over-complicate things to make it work in every situation, like many commercial solutions are trying to do. So this thing doesn't have to work for 24 ,18 and 12 mm boards for example. If you need one for another type of board, simply adjust it and print it.

The jig is highly customizable, so you can make special jigs/molds for unique woodworking projects and save a lot of time measuring and tinkering. Think of a jig for drawers or one for shelves.

See the PDF for simple instructions for doweling. The use for screw holes follows the same idea. The device used in the instructions is added as stl-file (18mm board, 8mm dowel, distance 20mm).

If you like the tool you can go grazy and place metal inserts.

Due to tolerances and different printers, the diameter of the holes is never precise. Print a version with one hole to determine the correct size. Or just drill it to the right size. In the standard settings in the Customizer I added a few tenth of millimeters to the diameters.

As an extra you can also use it for brackets or ribs or...?

If you are used to imperial units, see the images for a conversion table for inches to mm. Also there is a stl for 3/4 board, 1/4 dowels, distance at 1/2 inch. I hope I did it right, not used to inches.
